A photograph of this sculpture was featured in a recent book on its artist, Margaret Priest. ArtWorks Conservation was contacted prior to the photographer’s visit, in order to improve the appearance of the sculpture. The sculpture is located in the centre of a water fountain and had developed an uneven green patina. Corrosion products were removed using water blasting, so as not to contaminate the delicate surrounding native water gardens. The artist's original patina was revealed and further enhanced by the application of a wax coating.
